The first families of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Canton, Ohio, immigrated from Greece to Canton, Ohio in the late 1800’s. To preserve and celebrate their heritage and faith, they formed the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in 1917. 2017 marks the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of the church.

The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and community opened its heart and its doors to the City of Canton and Stark County Communities in 1976 with its First Annual GRECIAN FESTIVAL, held at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. The only Festival to be held at The Canton Civic Center other than the Hall of Fame Festival Events. This year marks the 41st Annual event to be held August 17, 18, & 19, 2017. The event will be hosted by 4 generations of parishioners and offer a wide variety of authentic and homemade Grecian cuisine, variety of Live Greek Entertainment which will include musicians and dancers, market vendors, basket raffle and a special booth setup to help raise money to grant a wish to raise money for the Wishes Can Happen Campaign.

WISHES BOOTH – “Break a Dish, Grant a Wish”

Break (or eat) a Chocolate Dish, help grant a wish! – By donation Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will have a special booth setup to raise donations to help grant a wish. Donations will be given to the “Wishes Can Happen” Campaign sponsored by 94.1, 1480 whbc, & Aultcare We will be presenting a donation at the WHBC, 94.1, AULTCARE “Wishes Event” Aug. 10th and match a percentage of donations raised at the Grecian Festival also.
